THE PROCEDURE:
When Dr maini suggested that the face tite procedure would take a few years off me, I was quite excited yet sceptical as I foud it difficult to believe that such a quick proceduree could achieve that, On the day, I arrived at the clinic feeling a bit apprehensive, I was offered a relaxant but refused, as I was on my own and would have to drive home, As I was having the core laser straight after the face tite, anaesthetic cream was applied to my face. After a while I was taken into the treatment room, I was a bit nervous by this time and wished I could have had the relaxant. With hindsight, I realise there was nothing to be nervous about. Dr Maini gave me some injections in my face to numb it and I have to say, this was the worst part of the procedure! the injections were a bit stingy but my face soon went numb and dr maini was able to start the procedure. He talked me thro everthing he was doing and I felt nothing as he made the first incision,in fact the whole procedure was virtually painless. All I could feel was lots of shoving and tugging, this was really strange as I knew there was a canular in my face, yet couldnt feel any pain, when Dr Maini did my top lip area, I have to admit that hurt a little but not enough to make it unbearable. The whole procedure didnt seem to take very long at all, it was soon time for the core laser, again, this was very quickly done and over with, and before i knew it, I was being fitted with the support mask and my treatment was finished.
DAY ONE
After having a good nights sleep, I awoke this morning, took off the mask and rushed straight to the mirror. I cant recognise my face, its very round and swollen and Im struggling to see out of my swollen eyes and I can see my puffed up cheeks without looking down, I can see bruises developing under my chin and under my eyes. although It looks horrific, I am amazed that I feel no pain at all. I clean my face with the vinegar water and re apply vaseline and the mask, again, I feel no pain at all as im cleaning my face!
DAY TWO
I didnt sleep as well last night, the mask was uncomfortable and felt a bit too tight, as soon as I removed it this morning to clean my face, it was somewhat of a relief, my face is a bit less swollen today and its easier to see out of my eyes, the bruises have developed a bit more, but still, I am in no pain at all. Some parts of my face are still a little numb but I can feel little ‘tickles’ running accross my skin as the numbness wears off.
DAY THREE
I slept well last night, the swelling has gone down quite a lot. For some reason, I expected the frown lines on my head to return as the swelling went down but theyve gone!! as I clean my face, I can see the difference already, my skin is definitely tighter! Apart from a small area on my top lip, I have full feeling back in my face.
DAY FOUR
Before I look in the mirror, I know I have less swelling this morning , my eyes are still a little swollen and my cheeks a little puffy, but I feel great! I am almost back to normal, if it wasnt for the marks on my face from the laser, I would put make up on!
DAY FIVE
I haved virtually no swelling this morning, my face is itching lots as it heals and its a comfort to clean it with the vinegar water! I can see how taut my skin is, I cant stop looking at my face in the mirror. I cant believe the difference. My skin feels sensitive and even a small piece of my hair falling on my forehead feels really tickly!
DAY SIX
No swelling at all today, I can see the difference the treatment has made and Im ecstatic! I can see my eyelids are no longer sagging, my jaw line is smooth, the wrikles around my eyes have reduced dramatically, there are no lines on my forehead. I dont recognise my mouth as being mine, there are no lines on my top lip anymore and the folds from my nose to my mouth have reduced lots. My whole face has been lifted and the results are truly unbelievable.
TWO WEEKS AFTER
I can honestly say that I am so pleased I went ahead with this treatment. It is ubelievable that a quick procedure like this can achieve such dramatic results. I would have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone, and I shall certainly have this again when the time comes again that I feel I need it. I have so much more confidence in myself, I feel great and the huge amount of lovely compliments I recieve from people only serve to make my confidence soar even more.
