Wrong! To inject botulinum toxin takes a deep understanding of the muscles and nerves in the area. Each injection has to be precisely located. The consequence of putting them in the wrong place can cause the patient disastrous consequences for 3 months. (Droopy eyelids, dribbling saliva etc)

The most difficult part of treating a patient with Botox is making the assessment of the patient. How do they move their face? What is causing the underlying problems? What do they want to achieve? What are the implications of treatment on their job?
