How Does It Work?

The device takes a series of images of the patient and merges them into a three dimensional template. This allows the surgeon and patient to view a realistic simulation of the effect of various surgical procedures.

The surgeon can show the effects of implant placement and realistically anticipate the final result.

What Happens On My Appointment?

When you arrive for your breast augmentation consultation, you will begin with a discussion of how the procedure is performed including the various incisions, implant placement and implant types.

You will then discuss the various risks that are involved and how they are handled. Recognising that your expectations are the most important factor in eventual success, we can use simulation implants in a bra to both give you a rough idea of what a given size can do to their physiques, as well as to gauge your preference.
We now also use 3D imaging with the Axis Three. We check your size and shape preferences by creating an image of how you would look after surgery.
