A Bristol doctor, from Q Clinics, has explained that hair removal treatments are becoming increasingly popular, but that quality standards should not be compromised.
In a recent press release, Doctor John Quinn claims that laser hair removal is growing in popularity as a result of the liberating nature of the treatment. Women shave their legs an estimated 11,000 times in their life, on average, which means hours or even days of grooming that can be saved through a few simple laser treatments.
Shaving and waxing is also very expensive, while laser treatment requires a small investment initially, savings can easily be made over a lifetime.
However, the doctor warns that anyone looking into getting laser hair removal should make sure they visit a reputable professional for the treatment, as many un-qualified practitioners can fall through the net.
Laser hair removal offers a real chance at complete and permanent hair removal, as it works by destroying the hair follicle through the use of a highly concentrated beam of light. This can help even those with ‘problem’ hair, that is thicker and darker and almost impossible to deal with using a razor.
